Coping

The coping is the final piece of the puzzle in creating a stunning pool. It not only protects the pool’s edge but also adds a decorative element that complements the overall design. Not only do we need to slope the patio away from the house to prevent water damage, but we must also ensure that water flows away from the pool. This dual-pitch approach prevents debris and water from entering the pool, maintaining its cleanliness and preventing potential damage.

Subbase Preparation

The first step in creating your dream pool patio is to establish a solid foundation. That’s why the initial step in building a pool patio is establishing the correct height and preparing the base. We thoroughly compact the soil to eliminate air pockets and voids as disturbed soil can lead to uneven surfaces and potential damage to the pavers. This meticulous process prevents future settling and guarantees a solid foundation that supports the weight of the concrete base and pavers, ensuring the longevity of your pool patio.

Pouring Concrete

Once the forms are securely in place and the soil is properly compacted, we pour a high-quality concrete base as concrete is particularly recommended for new pool installations. This step requires precision and attention to detail to ensure the concrete is poured to the correct height and level. We take precautions to protect surrounding areas and allow the concrete to cure undisturbed, ensuring optimal strength and durability. Coping, Sand & Pavers

The next step involves installing the coping, which can vary depending on the pool type and your design preferences.
